inspire
(an fsg range of products)
Where there is a problem, fsg finds a solution. If that solution exists, we source it. If it doesn’t, we collaborate with partners to make it.

That is why and how inspire was created.

inspire dinnerware was developed to help individuals maintain their independence, providing solutions for people with limited mobility and reduced visual perception.

Working closely with healthcare professionals, fsg developed a range of brightly coloured melamine dinnerware including high sided plates to replace plate guards adding dignity to the dining experience. North Tees and Darlington Hospitals ran a trial using yellow plates and recorded 40% less food waste being returned to the kitchen.

Our work with hospital and care home caterers highlighted the need to develop a range of adapted cups, as the ones being used were reminiscent of baby sippy cups with poor aesthetic design. There was nothing available in the market to encourage independent drinking in a dignified manner. With this in mind, we developed a range of single and double handled cups with extra large handles and a choice of feeder lids, ideal for people with shaking hands and limited mobility. Made from high heat plastic the cups are lightweight and easy to grip. We collaborated with GET. Enterprises to get the cups manufactured and launched in the UK in 2012. GET. have gone on to supply this range worldwide.

inspire was designed to help by replacing products that previously hindered the health and happiness of their users.
